See 'n Spell is an interactive sound installation using MAX/MSP/Jitter to translate live video into language. As participants move the camera they trigger an "alphabet" of invented pronunciations. These triggers are collected and immediately combined to create new words and sentences. The result is perceived as speech, but the vocabulary is incomprehensible in its encoded form. (2004)
